Scientists Detect Radio Signals From Exoplanet for the First Time Ever

Around 63 light-years away is a young gas giant called Beta Pictoris b. It’s hot, bright, several times more massive than Jupiter, and one of the most extensively studied exoplanets through direct observation. Now, researchers at Harvard and the University of Oregon say they’ve detected something that has never before been unequivocally traced to another world: radio emissions.
