Go Fourth! It Is the Final Countdown for Amazon Prime Day Live Coverage
It's Day Four. Somehow it's still Prime Day. The deals are live. The deals are wild. The deals are almost feral. We are still here in the trenches digging up the deals and trends.
It is the final day of Amazon Prime Day—the final countdown, the time of FOMO dread, the last official day of the best deals. The fourth day is the day when we bring you the sun, the moon, and the stars. After today, many things will cost a little bit more for the foreseeable future—especially laptops.
But new deals are still rolling out all day today. Friday is the day when a lot of you get your paychecks, and so Amazon is filling up the virtual racks with impulse buys. We'll be out here sorting the true deals from the fake deals. You worked hard for that paycheck, and we plan to make sure you get something really good out of it. Like, 40% off Bose headphones good. You know? We all persist together.
We will update our overview of the absolute best Amazon Prime Day deals three times today. We'll add new terrific deals. We'll cut the deals that already died, or that don't look quite as fresh. And we'll be here live all day with the most Lightning of deals, mowing our lawn with robots while we work, and spouting bum opinions about how you shouldn't spend more than $500 on a Chromebook.
We're here. It's still Prime Day. It is always Prime Day.

A Robot Mower is What I'd Actually Buy Today
A few minutes ago, I mowed my grass. In the middle of Amazon Prime Day, when I'm working 10 to 14-hour days. We got lots of rain over the past week, and it was getting pretty raggedy.
Happily, all it took was opening an app and pushing a button. Done. Back to the blog.
See those mowing lines? They were not there 30 minutes ago.
My Go-To Kitchen Knife Is $15 off
This thin, sharp chef’s knife has become my kitchen go-to. I love its classic, old-timey design with a wooden handle that just feels elegant. The knife is super lightweight, with a grippy, ergonomically-shaped wooden handle that helped me maintain control, along with a hard blade that stays sharp for a long time. Both the wider design and slight upward curvature of the blade helped with slicing speed, and I was able to easily make finer cuts as well as quick, rough chopping.
This Is The Instant Pot I'd Buy If I Hadn't Already Purchased A Rice Cooker 2 Days Ago
Who gets the countertop appliances in the divorce? I didn't want them, or so I thought. But I miss my multi-cooker, and I would so happily re-purchase this Instant Pot if I hadn't already gotten myself a rice cooker for Prime Day (and asked for another Instant Pot for my birthday). They're just so convenient. You can make mashed potatoes without standing over a hot stove. You can make rice without needing a dedicated appliance. You can sear meat, make soup, or create those viral TikTok recipes that promise one appliance and minimal dishes. You can even make a cake in it. This Instant Pot has a large enough capacity for families and thousands of glowing reviews, including from me, if unofficially.
Also, I know I said I'd leave first impressions of said rice cooker here on this blog, but it's still in the box and I cannot be bothered. Guess you'll have to come back to the next live blog in November!
The Best Fitness Tech Deals This Prime Day
For Amazon Prime Day, I've compiled a list of the best deals on our favorite fitness tech. This includes wearables, walking pads, and recovery gear. The Oura Ring 4 ($215) is almost 40 percent off. The latest Apple Watch Series 11 ($279) is 30 percent off. You can even snag the Fitbit Charge 6 ($85) for $75 off.
This Moccamaster Is the Best for Small Batches
Moccamasters last forever. And they make beautiful coffee. And right now is one of only two times a year to get a very good sale price. But which one to get? My colleague, Simon Hill, and I both love Technivorm Moccamaster coffee machines, but we don’t use the same one. He favors the Technivorm Moccamaster KBGT, the version with the thermal pot. I prefer the KBGV, which I have long favored as the buy-it-for-life pick in my guide to the best drip coffee makers on earth. The difference comes down to routine. The thermal version is best for full 10-cup batches, because it uses a thermal carafe instead of a hot plate. The KBGV “volume” version lets you optimize for half-batches or even smaller. If you’re like me? And you prefer two-mug batches of coffee, drunk fresh? You get the KBGV. If you make a big ol’ pot every time? Get the KBGT. Both are pretty. Both make pretty coffee. Both will be with you forever.
When You Buy This Automatic Litter Box, You Help Bodega Cats in NYC
After testing several disappointing automatic litter boxes in a row, I was pleasantly surprised by this machine. Set up took less than five minutes—all you need to do is pop on the legs, insert a liner and the waste drawer below, insert a deodorization cartridge, and connect to the app. Through the connected app, you can set scheduled cleanings, clean on-demand, empty litter, enable ‘sleep’ mode, adjust time delay for cleaning, and switch device settings like child lock and indicator lights and beeping. I’d recommend this model if you’re only looking to spend a few hundred bucks, and you want a connected app to better monitor your cat's habits and health. Plus, Lesure is giving away free automatic litter boxes to bodega cats in NYC! We have to stan.
It's Time to Buy the Headphones
It's the last day of Amazon Prime Day, so if you've been eyeing a new pair of headphones, now's the time to buy. We've rounded up deals on some of our favorite headphones, many of which we've been testing for months or even years.
The Sony WH-1000XM6 ($378) are $82 off. You can snag the Nothing Headphones ($214) for $85 less. My personal favorite, the Bose QuietComfort Ultra ($269), are $180 off.
The Pet Camera I Use in My Home Is Only $36 Right Now
After testing dozens of pet cameras, the Petcube Cam 360 is still one of my favorite models. It’s already a super affordable camera, but it’s made even cheaper with a discount that brings it down to only $36. It has 360 PTZ rotation capabilities, 1080p HD resolution, 8X digital zoom, two-way audio, and night vision, meaning virtually no area of the surveilled room is unmonitored. The camera feed always rotates smoothly, and with the wide fisheye-like lens and panning capabilities, including up-and-down motion, it covers more space than most pet cameras I've tested. If you’re looking for a cheap indoor camera with tons of coverage, you can’t beat this low, low price point.
Our Favorite Apple Gadgets Are on Sale
One of the best times to snag an Apple device is on Amazon Prime Day. Apple products go on sale often, but we've seen some of the best deals on Prime Day. If you're shopping for new AirPods, an Apple Watch, an iPad, or any Apple accessory, now's the time to send it.
Wake Up and Smell the Coffee Deals!
Like many folks, I don’t function well in the morning until I slurp down my first coffee. My tastes grew more demanding over the years, until I settled on the Technivorm Moccamaster KBGT Coffee Machine. This is drip coffee perfection. Simply pair it with good-quality, freshly ground beans, and you’ll have a perfect pot in precisely six minutes. This classic design is more than 50 years old, with only minor tweaks to perfect its brewing capabilities. Handmade in the Netherlands since 1968, this machine has a steel construction, a copper heating element, and a glass-lined thermal carafe. It brews at between 92 and 96 degrees Celsius, the ideal temperature to unlock those flavors. One of the best coffee makers around, it is built to last, so snag one on sale and tick coffee off your list forever.
You Don't Need to Spend Big to Score These Prime Day Deals
It's tough out here, and even with Prime Day discounts, some purchases are still hard to justify. That's why we've rounded up the best deals under $100, so you can still treat yourself without breaking the bank. We've included earbuds, Kindles, wearables, and plenty of other useful tech designed to make life a bit easier and sweeter.
Owala Freesip Bottles Are Down to $24
I've been an Owala believer for years because the Freesip lids rock. (Boutayna is, too, but she prefers the Twist.) I like not having to choose between sipping from a straw or gulping from a spout, because this bottle can handle both. They're down to $23 in a few different color options, which is the cheapest price I've seen, and as an added bonus you won't have to worry about some teenager having swapped the lid like you would in a physical store. Note that this deal is for the smaller 24-ounce capacity which means you may have to refill it more often. I do with these were a bit more durable—after three years, my lid started to lose its airtight seal, and drops result in dents—but if you want a solid water bottle that can fit in a cupholder and won't slow you down, these are a worthy option.
These Are the Best Vacuum Deals This Prime Day
It seems like vacuums don't want to work these days. Plenty have claimed they can handle pet hair, but most fail the test. Fortunately, our resident vacuum expert Nena Farrell has tested the best of the best, and for Prime Day, she's rounded up the deals actually worth your money.
You can snag the Shark PowerDetect ($300), for $100 cheaper than usual, or the budget-friendly Bissell PowerClean FurFinder ($150) with an extra discount. The best robot vacuum she's tried, the Shark PowerDetect UV Reveal ($850) is also on sale, and you can get wet vacuums like the Narwal S30 Pro ($335) on sale, too.
This Mesh Wi-Fi Router Isn’t The Sexiest Deal, But It’s One of the Best
Okay, we get it. Mesh Wi-Fi routers aren’t the most exciting thing to talk about, but you’re likely reading this while using Wi-Fi right now. Having a speedy internet is so important for day-to-day life. We think this mesh Wi-Fi system is the best as they come—it has easy setup, speedy and stable Wi-Fi 7, and expansive coverage. Its tri-band mesh system has 2.4-, 5-, and 6-GHz bands, is easy to set up and use, and delivers over a wide area. At over $100 off, it’s a great time to invest in your future.
Restock The Best Hand Sanitizer for Cheaper Than Usual
I've tried many a dupe for the Touchland Power Mist hand sanitizer sprays. None of them compare. Not only is Touchland's packaging superior, but the scents are too, and the formula doesn't leave my hands feeling all withered and gross. This deal on a five-pack means you can keep one in your purse, one in the car, one in the diaper bag, one in the kitchen, and one in a secret fifth location left to you to decide. Three-packs of one scent are discounted, too, but where's the fun in that?
You Get Eye Patches! You Get Eye Patches! Everyone Gets Eye Patches!
These eye patches basically got me through Prime Day. I've been wearing a pair every morning before my early shifts, and I'm down to my last set. Luckily for both of us, they're on sale right now, which means it's the perfect time to stock up.
I especially love these Topicals because they are free from synthetic fragrances, dyes, and parabens. They're also vegan, if that matters to you. They contain five active ingredients: niacinamide (to treat hyperpigmentation), caffeine (to reduce the appearance of dark circles), kojic acid (to brighten the skin), tranexamic acid (to address UV-induced hyperpigmentation), and arbutin (to fade hyperpigmentation). Sometimes I'll put my eye patches in the freezer for a couple of minutes to cool them before application, but I don't have to do that with these; they're designed with a hydrogel that gives you that cooling sensation. Also, they're so cute.
That said, Amazon is offering discounts on several eye patches if this one isn't speaking to you.
The Only Travel Beauty Products I Consistently Re-Purchase Are $15 Off
I'm not a big fan of travel-size beauty products because I feel like they're often too small to be of any use whatsoever. But this travel set from Sol de Janeiro contains body wash, lotion, and fragrance that has lasted me through several trips. They're small enough to travel with, but not so small that I feel like I need to use them sparingly. And they all smell incredible, too. The little carrying bag isn't exactly a practical size but it is a nice touch. This is the price I'd buy it at.
Save on The Best Power Bank We've Tested
The Anker Laptop Power Bank is the best we've tried (and collectively we've tried hundreds.) It has two built-in cables, one of which doubles as a carrying strap. It has a 25,000-mAh capacity and can deliver up to 165 watts, so it'll easily charge your phone and laptop and tablet. It probably can't charge your car battery, but for every other gadget, it'll have your back, with the added bonus of a built-in display that'll give you information at a glance. And it can be recharged quickly too! This Prime Day deal is worthwhile if you're on the hunt for a solid portable charger.
Sick of Jeff? Try John Instead
I'm not going to get into the cognitive dissonance I feel regarding the current state of the world and its wealth distribution because that's between me and my therapist. But the fact of the matter is, some people are tired of shopping on Amazon, and the other fact of the matter is, some of those people still need vacuum cleaners and laptops and box fans. So we put together a list of deals available at Walmart. It was updated in the last hour and is worth browsing if you're interested in supporting a different CEO.
A Robovac-Mop Will Save Your Home (and Maybe Your Marriage)
After testing hundreds of products while working on the WIRED Reviews team, people often ask what the best piece of tech I’ve ever tested, or what I’d recommend they buy. I tell them, without a doubt, it's a robot vacuum-mop cleaner. This high-end model ups the ante, using AI to identify up to 108 obstacles, with 20,000-Pa suction, a fast-charging and intelligent recharging dock, and extended clean time. This vacuum has a high-efficiency washable filter that captures 99.97 percent of dust, pollen, and allergens down to 0.3 microns in size. There's hot-water washing for the mop, a flexible arm, and a main brush that splits in two to make it easier to clean. You can use voice commands via Alexa, Apple Siri Shortcuts, and Google Home, and the robovac can navigate smartly around your home on its own with multi-floor mapping, using its StarSight Autonomous System 2.0 with lidar, ToF sensors, RBG cameras, and AI.
I Love This Cute Little Photo Printer And So Does My Fridge
I haven't pitched my “Best Gear for Blowing Up Your Life And Moving to Another State” guide yet, but this photo printer would be on it. Regardless of where my pitch lands, this will still be featured in an upcoming gift guide. The people yearn for physical photos, and while digital frames and art TVs are cool, they aren't quite as cool as holding something tangible. This little printer spits out 2-by-3 photos that are also stickers. Decorate your fridge, your phone case, your walls, or your junk journal, and do it for less money than usual thanks to Prime Day. Refills aren't too expensive, either.
