  Ben Collins is the CEO of The Onion and a journalist covering online disinformation and extremism. Between 2018 and 2024 he worked at NBC News, where he covered how movements such as QAnon influence politics and media.

  In 2024 he helped assemble the group that acquired The Onion, leading efforts to rebuild and expand the satirical publication. In 2026 The Onion acquired the conspiracy theory platform Infowars.

  Alex Gibney is an Oscar-, Emmy-, Grammy-, Peabody-, and WGA Award-winning filmmaker celebrated for his incisive and gripping documentaries. His landmark works include Taxi to the Dark Side, Going Clear, Enron, The Inventor, and In Restless Dreams.

  Gibney is currently producing and directing a Hulu documentary about Luigi Mangione. His latest films, Knife: The Attempted Murder of Salman Rushdie, inspired by Salman Rushdie’s memoir, and Musk, an unvarnished examination of Elon Musk, are set for theatrical release in fall 2026.

• What if you could talk to a dolphin? Spoiler: You can. Here’s how Dr. Denise Herzing, Founder and Research Director, Wild Dolphin Project

  Dr. Denise Herzing is the founder and research director of the Wild Dolphin Project, coeditor of Dolphin Communication and Cognition, and an affiliate assistant professor in biological sciences at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton. She has studied Atlantic spotted dolphins every summer since 1985.

  Dr. Herzing is a 2004 fellow with the Explorers Club, a 2008 Guggenheim fellow, and a 2021 member of the Women Divers Hall of Fame. Recently, she was awarded Conservationist of the Year for 2027 by Wild About Wildlife and was included in Time magazine’s list of the 100 most influential people in AI. She is a founding member of the Marine Mammal Society, a scientific adviser for the American Cetacean Society and the Whale Sanctuary, and is on the board of Schoolyard Films.

  Ben Lamm is a cofounder and the CEO of Colossal Biosciences, the world’s first de-extinction company. A serial technology entrepreneur, he has spent more than 20 years building companies at the intersection of artificial intelligence, emerging technology, conservation, and space innovation.

  Prior to Colossal, he founded and led Hypergiant, Conversable, Chaotic Moon, and Team Chaos, all of which were successfully acquired. Lamm serves on the board of directors of the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation and is a fellow and trustee of the Explorers Club.

• What if you could put a social network in front of a jury? Suing the platforms Mark Lanier, Trial Lawyer

  Mark Lanier is a top trial lawyer who has won some of the largest verdicts in US history, representing people harmed by the world’s most powerful companies. Most recently, he won the nation’s first social-media addiction trial, a landmark verdict against Meta and Google’s YouTube.

  An inductee in the National Trial Lawyer Hall of Fame, Lanier also teaches the craft of trial advocacy to more than a thousand lawyers each summer at his Lanier Trial Academy. He has authored several books on faith and law, and leads a 750-member Bible class in Houston, where he lives with his wife, Becky, and their family.

  Alexis Ohanian is a tech founder and venture capitalist. He is the cofounder and former executive chair of Reddit, which he started in 2005, left in 2010, and then returned to lead in 2014 before resigning in protest in 2020. In 2020, Ohanian founded Seven Seven Six, a venture capital firm with over $1.3 billion in assets under management.

  He is the founding control owner of Angel City Football Club and Los Angeles Golf Club, and the founder of ATHLOS. Ohanian is also an investor in Chelsea FC Women. In 2022, he launched the 776 Foundation to support marginalized individuals and announced a $20 million commitment to climate action through his 776 Fellowship Program. He’s also the bestselling author of Without Their Permission and creator of the Business Dad podcast, exploring what it means to be a dad in today’s world.

  CJ Pearson is a nationally recognized conservative commentator and political strategist, and the chair of the Next250 political action committee. As the national co-chair of the Republican National Committee Youth Advisory Council, he played a pivotal role in mobilizing young conservatives during the 2024 election, helping connect the RNC and the influencer community. In 2025, Pearson was recognized by Time as one of the 100 most-influential people on the internet. Beyond his public profile, Pearson is the founder and CEO of the Pearson Company, a creator-led political influencer agency, and a regular contributor to Fox News.

  Kat Abughazaleh is a Palestinian-American researcher, journalist, and former congressional candidate. Abughazaleh’s organization KAPOW, formed after her close election loss, works to integrate mutual aid and direct action into electoral politics by using campaign resources to help people rather than manipulate them. Her writing has appeared in Mother Jones and The New Republic. Abughazaleh lives in Chicago with her partner, Ben, and their two cats, Heater and Dragon. She hates ICE, Flock, and genocide, but finds joy in her loving family, mediocre knitting, and reading space operas.

  Evan Ratliff has been contributing feature stories to WIRED for over 25 years. He’s also the writer and host of the podcast Shell Game, and the author of The Mastermind: A True Story of Murder, Empire, and a New Kind of Crime Lord.

  Husk is a comedian known for his satirical takes on AI. His deadpan exchanges with ChatGPT’s voice model have received over 800 million views and earned Husk 1 million followers, including Justin Bieber, Jack Black, Nikki Glaser, Tim Robinson, and Bob Odenkirk. Coverage of his work has appeared in Vanity Fair, WIRED, Vice, and Fast Company, which dubbed him “Sam Altman’s worst nightmare.” He has an original series in development with The Onion and has done brand partnerships with CeraVe, Ninja, and ON.
