NASA Astronaut Films Stunning ‘Earthset’ On iPhone During Artemis II Mission
The farthest journey in human history concluded on April 10 when NASA’s Artemis II astronauts safely returned to Earth after a flight around the moon.
Commander Reid Wiseman has now shared new footage of the moment the crew witnessed an “Earthset,” during the flyby of the moon, which he likened to “watching sunset at the beach from the most foreign seat in the cosmos.”
Wiseman said he shot the video on an iPhone through the docking hatch window with a 8x zoom. Enjoy.
