TOKYO -- With two major zombie-themed videogames taking center stage at Tokyo Game Show, the undead gave the expo's traditional booth babes a run for their money. The show floor was crawling with animated corpses earlier this month, with dozens of ghouls promoting [Dead Rising 2](http://stag-komodo.wired.com/gamelife/2010/09/dead-rising-2-2/), released Tuesday by Capcom, and upcoming zombie game [Yakuza: Of the End](http://stag-komodo.wired.com/gamelife/2010/09/ryu-ga-gotoku-of-the-end/). It wasn't all zombies at Japan's biggest videogame show, though. There was no shortage of scantily dressed "companions" to accompany attendees as they test-drove the latest games. A few "lucky" cast members even got to sweat out the show in massive costumes from [Mega Man](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mega_Man) and [Monster Hunter](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monster_Hunter). How could we not document their appearances for posterity? __Above:__ A zombified mafioso is flanked by his human (for now) mistresses at the Sega booth, promoting the PlayStation 3 game Yakuza: Of the End.

A companion demonstrates Sony's PlayStation Move controller. The motion controller, released in the United States during the weekend of Tokyo Game Show, was a [focal point of the company's booth](http://stag-komodo.wired.com/gamelife/2010/09/resident-evil-5-move/), with massive demo rooms that let other attendees watch players as they swung the Move around. Elsewhere at the show, Sony worldwide studios head Shuhei Yoshida said the system's extreme accuracy could [make games "unplayable" if not properly employed](http://stag-komodo.wired.com/gamelife/2010/09/shuhei-yoshida/) by developers.

Even more zombies from Sega's [Yakuza: Of the End](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ry%C5%AB_ga_Gotoku_Of_the_End). The series, which takes place in a slightly fictionalized version of Tokyo's Kabuki-cho red-light district, has seen four entries that did not have a single zombie between them. Now, the town is overrun with the undead.
