Gallery: Exclusive: First Look at Disney Mag's Tron: Legacy Preview
01disneytwenty-three-2-4b-fanwinter2010
The winter issue of Disney twenty-three, the quarterly magazine of the Disney fan club, will feature a nine-page special on Tron: Legacy. Wired.com has an exclusive first look. The story includes interviews with the film's creators, including personal Tron memories from director Joseph Kosinski and writer Steven Lisberger, among others. "The reason \[the sequel's development\] took the 25 to 28 years is because we needed the 10-year-olds to grow up and be powerful enough to make this movie so that they could take their 10-year-old sons to see it," says Lisberger in the feature. The $16 magazine will be on store shelves and ship to members of [Disney's D23 fan club](http://www.disney.com/D23) on Nov. 1. [Tron: Legacy](http://stag-komodo.wired.com/underwire/tag/tron-legacy/) flashes into theaters Dec. 17. __Above:__ The cover of the magazine that goes out to subscribers shows Sam Flynn (played by Garrett Hedlund) in a lightcycle duel.
