Gallery: From C-3PO Swimsuits to R2-D2 Engagement Rings: The Star Wars Fashion We Love
01star-wars-hoodies-by-thinkgeek
Forget *Star Wars* logo tees. Although pop culture mashups with high fashion aren't exactly unheard of, something about the aesthetics and iconography of the *Star Wars* universe has proved particularly well-suited to the world of designer apparel and accessories in recent years, inspiring collaborations with international brands like BAPE, trompe-l'oeil "costume" apparel by Marc Ecko, luxury watches, Slave Leia-themed hightops and even custom R2-D2 wedding rings. As our week of *Star Wars*-themed content continues at Wired, we've selected some of the most stylish and inspired apparel and accessories from the wider world of *Star Wars* fashion. __Above: *Star Wars* Hoodies by Thinkgeek \---------------------------------------__ The real trick of the *Star Wars* hoodies by Thinkgeek isn't that they advertise your love of Boba Fett and Stormtroopers; it's that they actually turn you into [Boba Fett](http://www.thinkgeek.com/product/ea40/) or a [Stormtrooper](http://www.thinkgeek.com/product/ead1/) -- if you're willing to commit to the full over-the-face zip.

03limited-edition-luxury-star-wars-watches-by-seiko
__Limited Edition Luxury *Star Wars* Watches by Seiko__ ------------------------------------------------------- Seiko's limited edition series of *Star Wars* watches is not for the frugal, at a price of around $1,800 (after converting from yen to U.S. dollars). Each watch in the Brightz line has its own distinctive elements; the R2D2 version (appropriately) has a high-res digital interface; the Darth Maul watch features dramatic, red Roman numerals on the watch face while the Yoda and C-3PO iterations are tinted green and gold respectively. And while you may not be able to read the [Japanese website](http://www.seiko-watch.co.jp/bz/starwars/index.php) for the designer timepieces, trust us -- it's a worth clicking over for the web design alone.
04r2d2-engagement-ring-by-paul-michael-design
__R2D2 Engagement Ring by Paul Michael Design__ ----------------------------------------------- Few proposals could aspire to the greatness achieved by Joe Pagani, who popped the question with a [sapphire and diamond R2-D2 ring](http://www.geekologie.com/2012/11/you-really-captured-his-essence-r2-d2-en.php) he had custom-designed for his girlfriend by Paul Michael Design. After Pagani's proposal story inspired collective awwws from *Star Wars* fans across the Internet, [Paul Michael Design and Custom Made](http://www.custommade.com/this-droid-is-for-sale/by/paulmichaeldesign/) decided to give other *Star Wars* fans the opportunity to bite his style with replicas of the ring, starting at $1,250 for sterling silver and $2,950 for gold.

(Their "[Middle Earth](http://blackmilkclothing.com/collections/middle-earth)" line isn't half-bad either.)
06adidas-originals-x-star-wars
__Adidas Originals x *Star Wars*__ ---------------------------------- *Star Wars* and Adidas have teamed up several times in the past, but two of our favorite were the Slave Leia-themed high-tops (above) and the Skywalker kicks inspired by the original series.

__Chewbacca Tank Top by Welovefine__ ------------------------------------ *Star Wars* t-shirts are a dime a dozen, but how many tank tops transform the women who wear them into Wookiees? Just one that we've found, courtesy of t-shirt retailer [Welovefine](http://www.welovefine.com/50-star-wars).

10bape-x-star-wars
__BAPE x *Star Wars*__ ---------------------- The recent collaborations between *Star Wars* and BAPE (a.k.a. the trendy Japanese clothing company A Bathing Ape) produced not only a [charming line of t-shirts](http://www.bape.com/sw) that integrated their simian mascot into iconic *Star Wars* scenes from the maw of the sarlacc to the Mos Eisley cantina, but also [hoodies, tote bags and knick-kacks](http://www.bape.com/sw2) mashing up the iconic film with their cartoony style.

__"I Know" Han and Leia-Inspired Rings__ ---------------------------------------- The classic exchange between Princess Leia ("I Iove you!") and about-to-be-frozen-in-carbonite Han Solo ("I know") gets immortalized in a pair of his and her sterling silver engagement rings by Swankmetalsmithing that feature rubies, sapphires, and the most romantic of all orbital battle stations, the Death Star.
12darth-maul-hoodie-by-marc-ecko
__Darth Maul Hoodie by Mark Ecko__ ---------------------------------- While Marc Ecko's line of *Star Wars*-themed clothing isn't the only one out there to walk the line between fashion and cosplay (see: Thinkgeek) but the vengeful face of this Darth Maul hoodie remains far and away the most terrifying visage in the world of *Star Wars* fashion. Fear is its ally.
