Moto Edge Plus, ultrawide camera. Motorola's Night mode doesn't work with its ultrawide, so you're not going to get the most detailed shots in low light.

OnePlus 8 Pro, ultrawide camera. OnePlus' ultrawide *does* work with its night mode, and while Moto might edge ahead in detail a little bit, the 8 Pro's shot is brighter overall and has a good deal more color.

OnePlus 8 Pro, 3x optical zoom. OnePlus' phone manages to maintain a lot of details, but it has this faded look in its attempt to brighten up some of the darker areas.

Moto Edge Plus, ultrawide camera. I love the tree to the left here, but zoom in just a little bit and everything else in the background looks like an oil painting. It was a pretty bright day too, despite the clouds.

Moto Edge Plus, Night mode. Detail is strong (maybe even a tad better than the Pixel), but it looks drained of color. I'd share the Pixel photo over this, though this is still very good.

Moto Edge, main camera. Motorola does a decent job with high contrast scenes, too. In this shot, the underside of the bright is well exposed and the sky isn't blown out.
