01May the Fourth Video
02Yoda Soda
Make Some Yoda Soda ------------------- A refreshing mix of lime sherbet, sugar, sparkling water, and more lime – Yoda Soda is a wonderfully (green) concoction that's super easy to make. The recipe – like a few others on this list – [comes from *The Star Wars Cookbook*](http://starwars.com/shop/books/wookiee_pies/), but the recipe is [available on StarWars.com](http://starwars.com/play/online-activities/cooking/yodasoda/). Head there now and get to mixing. (Side Note: We're not saying it mixes well with vodka. But really most things mix with vodka, so yeah, if you're of-age go ahead and mix it with some vodka. Or gin.) *Photo courtesy Lucasfilm*
03Wookiee Cookies
Bake Some Wookiee Cookies ------------------------- Like chocolate chip cookies but, um, Chewie-er, [Wookie cookies](http://starwars.com/media/downloads/cooking/cooking_wookiee_cookies.pdf) are the absolute best baking project a *Star Wars* fan can tackle on the Fourth. Sweet, and soft with just a hint of cinnamon, they're a great snack to eat while watching the original trilogy. Form a Rebel Alliance and bake some up this afternoon and then eat them all night. (The [recipe is here](http://starwars.com/media/downloads/cooking/cooking_wookiee_cookies.pdf).)
04Star Girls
See a *Star Wars*-Themed Burlesque Show ---------------------------------------- If you live in Anaheim – or can get there by sun-down – then you might be able to catch the Star Girls burlesque show. The [parody and pageantry night](http://maythefourthbewithyouevent.com/) is being held at a joint called Ember and will also have a costume contest (come dressed as your favorite character!), a best *Star Wars* tattoo contest (make that Vader on your buttocks famous!) and a photo booth where attendees can take their pictures with performers. Added bonus: The venue is only about 3 miles from Disneyland, so it's totally possible to pre-game by hitting up Star Tours. Just sayin'. (Oh, and if you're in Queensland, you can go to [this one](http://www.theartscentregc.com.au/whats-on/whats-on-items/star-wars-burlesque).)
05Puppet-Show
Recreate Favorite *Star Wars* Scenes with Puppets ------------------------------------------------- Chewbacca was like seven feet tall (7' 1"-plus if you go by Peter Mayhew's height), but as long as you've got a size 7 (ish) foot and some old socks, you can recreate the big guy with some fake fur sewing skills. ([Details here](http://starwars.com/play/online-activities/crafts/chewbaccasockpuppet/).) Once you've made Chewie, start on an origami Millennium Falcon (learn how in the video above) and maybe even make a [Yoda finger puppet](http://starwars.com/play/online-activities/crafts/yodastickpuppet/). If you have a white handkerchief and some brown yarn you can probably even whip up a Princess Leia. Once you have the necessary characters, set about recreating your favorite scenes. Also, pics or it didn't happen. Leave links to your handiwork in the comments below.
06May the Fourth - Disney World
Catch Some *Star Wars* 'Limited Time Magic' at Disney World ----------------------------------------------------------- Further indication that the land of Lucas is now part Walt Disney World, the Florida park's Hollywood Studios [will be celebrating the Fourth](http://disneyparks.disney.go.com/let-the-memories-begin/limited-time-magic/star-wars-4th-be-with-you-hollywood-studios/) this year with character meet-and-greets (Chewbacca is supposed to be there!), a special fireworks show, and even a *Star Wars* dance party. If this party doesn't just play the "Cantina Song" on a loop then it's missing out big time.
07The Toledo Mud Hens
Hit Up a *Star Wars* Themed Minor League Baseball Game ------------------------------------------------------ For the Toledo Mud Hens, a minor league baseball team in Toledo, Ohio, Star Wars Day isn't long enough. That's why they're celebrating [Star Wars Weekend](http://www.milb.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=20130419&content_id=45228470&fext=.jsp&vkey=news_t512&sid=t512) this year, with special themed events on May 4 and 5 including appearances from members of the 501st Legion, *Star Wars*-themed food and beverages (including the Yoda Soda and something called the Darth Chocolate Brownie Sundae) and, perhaps best of all, a reprise of last year's [Kazoo-Along](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f_0E-hMDImE) to music from the movies. "This is the second year we’ve done the promotion," Toledo Mud Hens communication director Andi Roman told Wired. "You could say the Force was strong among our fans. They totally got into our first *Star Wars* promotion. The concourse looked like a Star Wars convention. That’s why this year we expanded it into two days -- May the Fourth be With You and Revenge of the Fifth." Post-game, the players will autograph their jerseys for a charity auction on both days; Saturday's auction will benefit Read for Literacy, while proceeds from Sunday's event will go towards the Spina Bifida Association of Northwest Ohio. As if that wasn't enough, the team will be wearing [special Chewbacca-inspired jerseys](http://www.milb.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=20130425&content_id=45776140&fext=.jsp&vkey=news_t512&sid=t512) for both days, as well.
