In *Lightning Strikes*, tubes are placed at exacting angles to drive the lighting into the floor. "It takes the idea of lightning, a very chaotic and random natural element, and reduces it down to a very basic, repetitive form," says Clar.

*A Moment Defined By A Point And A Line* represents the assassination of three prominent Muslims, Malcolm X, King Faisal, and Amadou Diallo. Each light visualizes the point of impact for each bullet and the angle of trajectory – displayed as lines of light intersecting a clear acrylic block.
