I'm a gamer. So of course, nobody ever buys me any videogames for Christmas. Why would they? Gamers don't wait around for people to buy us videogames; we go to the store and buy the ones we want the day they come out. And even if there were games we wish people would buy for us, it would be a fool's errand for someone outside the hobby to try to select the right game. Inevitably, we already purchased it or rented it — or just plain don't want it. You could just ask us what we want, but then where's the surprise? While there are many Wii accessories out there, none are so fundamentally transformative as THQ's uDraw tablet, which lets you paint elaborate creations and play Pictionary — all on your TV screen. The surprisingly high-quality accessory boasts some cool features — you can hover the stylus over the tablet to move the on-screen cursor, for example. Plants vs. Zombies Official Soundtrack -------------------------------------- Laura Shigihara's soundtrack is just one of the things that makes PopCap's [Plants vs. Zombies](http://stag-komodo.wired.com/gamelife/2009/05/plants-vs-zombies/) one of the most talked-about games of the past year. For just $10, you can download everything — Shigihara's original MIDI work that had to be down-sampled and remixed for the PC game, plus the tracks as they appeared in the final product.
