Each feather was individual shaped, but all were based on a single white dove feather. "The white dove symbolizing peace and harmony and the feather symbolizing freedom and flight," says Wales. "If you pluck out any of the feathers the wing looks sick and un-cared for, but with all the feathers it blossoms into a healthy and attractive piece." *Christine Kreiselmaier*

Wales printed all of her pieces at service bureau [Digits 2 Widgets](http://www.digits2widgets.com/) using a selective laser sintering (SLS) 3-D printer. The Material used is a white nylon, selected for its high strength and flexible properties. *Christine Kreiselmaier*
