The 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon arrived at the New York Show doing a burnout. It’s powered by an 840-horsepower supercharged 6.2-liter V-8 engine, so powerful, the car can do wheelies.

Not to be left behind in the ridic stakes, Jeep used a dynamometer to introduce the 2018 Grand Cherokee Trackhawk. Apparently the most powerful and quickest SUV ever, it can do 0-60 mph in 3.5 seconds and the quarter-mile in 11.6 seconds, and reach a top speed of 180 mph.

America doesn't have a monopoly on muscle: Mercedes is flexing too. It showed the AMG CLG 63, with a twin turbo 4.0 liter V8. As well as a regular SUV, it comes as a coupe and an "S-Coupe," with even more go-faster bits.
