Announced last week in a teaser video, Dreamcast classic Jet Set Radio will feature "upgraded" high-def visuals when it releases on Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Network and PC this summer, Sega said in a blog post on Tuesday.

Originally released on Dreamcast in 2000, Jet Set Radio follows the story of a gang of rollerblading graffiti artists battling an oppressive government by tagging territories in the city of Tokyo-to. In the U.S., it was originally renamed Jet Grind Radio. It was one of the first games to use the now-common technique of "cel-shading," generating polygonal graphics that look like 2-D animation.

For the new release, Sega is holding a contest in which fans have the chance to create one of 18 new pieces of graffiti art that will be dropped into the game.
