"The project is an attempt to design and reverse a genuine economic Black Swan event.

"The premise was a series of scenarios, written by myself, that were driven by bureaucratic
anomalies and financial hiccups found in insurance contracts and stock indices, the central idea being
to construct a scientifically viable, precise financial Black Swan.

"The scenarios were assessed by an advisory board made up of Hiscox Insurance, Goldman Sachs, Merrill Lynch and The Institute of Global Insurers. Their task was to asses the asset value of these scenarios and write contracts that would give a monetary value to the collapse. For which they wrote 400 genuine insurance contracts for the made up characters and their predicaments, with an estimated economic loss of 846 billion. They also wrote a balance sheet detailing who would gain and who would lose.

"The project was designed through various artefacts detailing the anatomy of the Black Swan and films that displayed various moments within the dark swan that could be considered beautiful and improbable."
