Greetings from the Vilcek Foundation! We are a non-profit organization in New York City dedicated to honoring the contributions of immigrants to the American arts and sciences.
I am writing because the Vilcek Foundation just launched dART – a new initiative dedicated to showcase foreign-born talents working in the realm of new media and digital arts in the United States. We are accepting submissions of work created by foreign-born artists using computer-based technologies to be featured in dARTboard – a brand-new digital art space premiering on Vilcek.org in January 2012. Artist with the chosen work will receive a $5,000 honorarium.
I would like to ask for your help in spreading the word about dART - Call for Entries in Digital Art. As a writer of Beyond the Beyond, I believe that there maybe many eligible US-based talents amongst your network of artists. I hope that you could pass along information about dART to those who might be interested.
