Zoya Akhtar is an Indian Filmmaker and producer best known for her critically acclaimed debut feature, Luck by Chance (2009)
Born into a family of film professionals, Akhtar started working in films much before her debut venture. She is the daughter of screenwriter Honey Irani and poet and lyricist Javed Akhtar. Her brother Farhan Akhtar is also a filmmaker.
Her second feature Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara is set to release in 2011.
