Galactic conflict gets goofy when Disney’s CGI sci-fi spoof Mars Needs Moms! touches down in March.
The animated feature’s trailer, debuting Tuesday, is warmly infused with unrepentant geek cred. Robot Chicken ‘s Seth Green plays a kid named Milo whose mom is kidnapped by Martians looking for maternal care for their own planetary spawn.
Mars Needs Moms! was produced by sci-fi and performance-capture wizard Robert Zemeckis ( Polar Express, Back to the Future) and was based on a book by comic-strip heavyweight Berkeley Breathed ( Bloom County).
