ANAHEIM -- Appearing as a hazy silhouette in a newly-revealed StarCraft 2 cutscene, the Queen of Blades, Kerrigan has been confirmed as appearing in Blizzard’s upcoming strategy title.
There’s no word on what role she plays, but the massive destruction and free-burning fires surrounding her form in the clip lead me to believe that she’s most definitely malevolent.
I’ll be interviewing SC2 lead designer Dustin Browder in a few hours, and hopefully he can shed some light on what Kerrigan is doing, and how she managed to survive the first game.
