Sonic Youth's lead axeman Thurston Moore recorded a soundtrack for a film called Extra Action (And Extra Hardcore), featuring "real women: unpretentious, unadorned, and definitely undressed."
We can probably expect something different from Thurston on this one; it's doubtful he'd employ the standard bow-chicka-wow approach. (Is that even a standard anymore, or merely a dying 70s trope? Nevermind).
"Those who love Kern's books knoweach is an invitation to join him as he follows them through theirhomes-or his New York apartment-from backyard to kitchen to bathroom tobedroom, capturing every sexy and embarrassing moment," according to the official description.
"Whenever Kernphotographs one of these energetic, clothes-dropping exhibitionists, hebrings out a video camera and asks them to 'roll around and dosomething interesting for a few minutes.' Extra Action [one hour long] documents 60 ofthese innocent amateur incidents set to an original musical score byThurston Moore of Sonic Youth."
Extra Action (And Extra Hardcore) ships on March 18th for $20 (available on Family Video?).
