O2, the UK iPhone carrier, has announced that its "unlimited" iPhone data plans will now in fact really be unlimited instead of capped at 200MB. O2 chief Matthew Key:
Take a look at the iPhone tariff section on the O2 site, however, and you'll still see the tell-tale asterisk next to "Unlimited Data": * Fair usage policy applies.
Ahead of the Friday launch, the UK Apple site has an updated iPhone section, with more details and the UK iPhone ads, which are almost exactly the same as the US ones, only with cuter accents. The Unofficial Apple Weblog also notes that the iPhone will actually go on sale at 6:02 pm, another plug for O2, and a fantastic pun.
