I always thought premature drippage was the main challenge in properly toasting a marshmallow, but nay. The real art, apparently, is in ensuring a uniform golden crust all around the surface of the marshmallow.
And to the rescue comes the Spinmallow, a battery-assisted fork that spins the fluffy morsels at a precise and supposedly ideal 92 rpm. They're $10 and also work well with wieners.
Me, I haven't had much of a jones for marshmallows since I, as a young news reporter, toured a marshmallow factory in Nevada that was incinerated when the rocket fuel plant next door blew up. (Cue Marlon Brando whisper.) The odor. The odor.
