Rumor: <cite>Kingdom Hearts</cite> Spreading To Multiple Consoles

Electronic Gaming Monthly's rumors column is usually pretty accurate about Square Enix stuff, so I'd like to think they've got it right about the future of the Kingdom Hearts series. As it turns out, the Disney/Squeenix crossover could be the next guinea pig in the great "polymorphic content" experiment:

Quartermann is abuzz about a series of prequels currently in-the-works for a number of consoles and handhelds. Think along the same lines as what's happened with Final Fantasy VII -- let's just hope the games are better this time.

With Compilation of FFVII about to finish up and World of Mana deader than dead, Kingdom Heartsorama should get started soon enough. Maybe at Tokyo Game Show?
