Lionhead Studios: <cite>Fable 2</cite> Going to be a Graphics 'Masterpiece'

Fable 2 is still miles away from being finished, but Lionhead is still saying things they probably shouldn't. A community update declares that:

Compared to some other games, Fable 2 is graphically going to be a Masterpiece. We are talking about vast and expansive outdoor locations, with added night and day cycle with realistic lighting effects that dynamically change the environment around you. There will be uber-detailed textures and lighting on up to fifty character models on screen, all of which will cast a dynamic shadow of themselves on that same environment and the same goes for any object in the world.

You just know that some snarky reviewer who got his nose out of joint over the whole acorn thing from the first Fable is going to be counting the character models, just to try and prove that statement wrong. Also, Lionhead's water expert, Fran, says Fable 2's water will be better than BioShock's.

While we wait to find out if the guys at Lionhead are right, or just extremely good at shooting themselves in the foot, let's have some new character art!
