GayGamer.net, which, as its name implies, looks at gaming from a gay point of view, was the apparent victim of a hate crime last week. Starting Wednesday morning, the site was hit by a series of denial of service attacks, which caused occasional timeouts. By Friday, GG was able to block the ISP from which the attacks were coming, which sadly only stopped the nonsense temporarily.
Friday night, hate-filled rhetoric, including some death threats, flooded the site's chat room and forum, all apparently coming from the same IP address. The posts were deleted, but the DOS attacks kept going, prompting GG's host to take the site down until the issue could be resolved. It appears to be back up and running now, with a post called What Comic Books Taught Me About Hatred:
