$1.4m IBM Server Falls Off Truck

That would be federal contractor T.R. Systems, which claims that IBM is responsible for mispackaging the machine, and that Big Blue won't accept returns. This forced them to buy another one.

It certainly puts all those "Best Buy won't let me return a lemon laptop" stories in perspective, eh? Unfortunately, there's no indication of the model or type of server in question, so
Gadget Lab can't warn you off purchasing one. But if a dodgy-looking cockney accosts you outside the pub with a great deal on an IBM supercomputer, don't say we didn't warn you.
