From the looks of the trailer, you’ll need a fairly strong stomach to play Beowulf (PS3, 360, PC) when it comes out in conjunction with the movie this November. The sound effects team apparently went into overtime creating "squish," "rip," and "crunch" noises for all the combat. Watch for our hero shoving his arm down a monster’s throat and ripping out its gooey bits. Yeeeesh. Once you get past the wetness, it looks to be a fairly serviceable slash ‘n’ bash.
