Girls! Make Your Mark and the Entertainment and Leisure Software Publishers Association (ELSPA) have announced the Women in Games round-table discussion, set to meet on July 11 at British Academy of Film & Television Arts. The gathering will debate how to expand the role of women in the industry, and how to sell more games to females.
EA's Sharon Knight and Rare's Louise Ridgeway are scheduled to be part of the discussion. Organizer Alex Ritchie believes that women like Knight and Ridgeway are perfect for the round-table's goals:
Anything coming from the round-table will more than likely be lost in an avalanche of E3 press, but it's a start.
