
Chris Connors and his kids built this "pre-silicon" iPhone sand sculpture in on a North Carolina beach. Connors offered to sell the phone to the crowd of onlookers but "none were willing to buy it at my asking price ($599 plus service, of course)."
Fake Steve Jobs claims that "some of these sand-based iPhones actually work". I live near a beach, in a country where the iPhone isn't available, so I think my afternoon's mission has just been decided.
