The Associated Press, like everyone else, is pretty taken with this whole Wii thing, which is why they're reporting this week on the continued, unprecedented, worldwide shortages.

At some point, of course, supply will catch up with demand. But some analysts don't see this happening until next year.

"I don't think by the holidays," [an analyst] said. "But maybe by the middle of next year, perhaps they can add another production line.
