There’s a line in Alien, where the android Ash says of the titular xenomorph, "I admire its purity." That’s pretty much how I feel about Mercenaries 2: World in Flames. It’s not subtle. It’s not coy. It’s about one thing, and one thing only: blowin’ sh*t up. The collapse of the building is poetry in motion, and the destruction of the bridge brings a tiny tear of joy to my eyes. sniff So lovely.
