Wow! What a total bummer. Fox showed a preview of its upcoming The Sarah Connors Chronicles at this month's upfronts. The series, based on the Terminator movies, looks beyond horrible. Regurgitated storyline, tacky acting, and Stargate bad F/X.
It's slated to come out early 2008. I give it three episodes – tops.
It's a real shame too, because as we've seen from Battlestar Galactica, old concepts can be revived in a fresh way. Fox obviously didn't put the brain power into this idea to really make it its own thing. It simply thinks it can bank on the Terminator franchise.
