Two of the developers behind the original Guitar Hero, Corey Fong and John Tam, are prohibited from making any music games for the next 12 months. Fong and Tam lost the lawsuit that had been filed against them by Activision, which claimed that they were consipiring with The Ant Commandos to make a Guitar Hero-style game.
Tam and Fong have to return all Guitar Hero-related materials they may have, and aren't allowed to have anything to do with music except maybe turning on the radio every now and again. They also can't make any controllers for Guitar Hero II for the 360 until the game's been out for six months. In fact, there's a whole list of peripherals that Tam and Fong aren't allowed to dupe until six months after their release. Want to guess what they might be for?
