Liquid Explosives Reported Found

31 sets of liquid chemical bombs were found by Lebanese officials during a raid near a Palestinian refugee camp, according to Al Jazeera and the Lebanon Daily Star.

Each of the 31 confiscated explosive devices is made of two tubes filled with blue liquid, fitted on a board and connected to a timer-detonator, said one source demanding anonymity.

The confiscated sets included "sophisticated electro-chemical timers-detonators that can be timed to explode after as late as 124 days," a police communiqué said, according to Naharnet.

It's unclear how powerful these are (The Daily Star says they aren't bombs just electro-chemical timers) or whether they are related to the UK arrests 6 months ago that brought liquid bans to many of the world's airports.
