I think American Technology Research analyst Shaw Wu might have to have his Create Your Own Random Apple Rumor chart taken away: he's under the impression that Apple's allegedly forthcoming subnotebook will not only run on flash, but won't have OSX proper, instead plumping for the cut-down version to be issued on the iPhone:
So, Apple, after offering OSX for the ~$100 OLPC laptop, will skip it for their own ultraportables in favor of something with a "controlled environment" that won't even let users install their own software? What next, a battery you can't replace and no keyboard?
Apple subnotebook will run iPhone OS X [Macworld]
