Vivendi Games has acquired Wanako Games, the largest game developer in Latin America. Snatching up the Assault Heroes dev leaves little question that Vivendi wants to make a dent in the downloadable console game space. Wanako is currently working on a number of projects, including another XBLA title, 3-D Ultra Minigolf Adventures.
Wanako is also responsible for the awesomely named Tornado Jockey and Groove-o-matic.
