This is a neat little Windows Mobile 5 device. It's somewhere between a laptop and a phone. That keyboard you see is detachable; it clips on with a magnetic snap. I actually thought I had broken it when it came off in my hand. You don't need to use the keyboard, though, as it has a touch screen.
Inside you'll find an 8GB Microdrive, a 3MP camera, plus one more on the front for video calls, a mini SD slot and built in GPS (TomTom Navigator 6) and you'll be able to connect pretty much anywhere with Tri-Band 3G/HSDPA and Quad-Band GSM/GPRS/EDGE.
And there's a twist. Motion sensors let you control apps by tilting, for instance scrolling around pages. Not sure how useful this will be, but there could be some great SmackBook action here, and I already have my order in for Marble Madness.
Available at the end of February.
