Motorstorm Trailer Parody

Reader Jamie Wells sends this 1920's silent film take on Motorstorm for PS3. I don't actually know what the point is, myself – is the auteur trying to say that Motorstorm's graphics are dated? Or is it just funny? I'm laughing, but then again I will laugh at pretty much anything like this (for example, my favorite Homestar cartoon is Ballad of the Sneak).
