Well, Japanese tech enthusiast site PC Watch didn't waste any time. They've bought a Japanese PlayStation 3 and ripped it open, laying all the parts bare for anyone to see. Of particular interest is the EE+GS chip, which smooshes the entire PlayStation 2 down into one tiny little piece of silicon. Check out lots and lots of PS3 innards at the link.
