Could this September actually have signaled year-on-year growth for the unstable games industry? A new analyst report expects that sales for last month will be up 20% over last September.
GameDaily has a summary of Wedbush Morgan Securities' preview of NPD game industry sales data, which are generally released around the 15th of the month. They predict that console software sales will hit $415 million.
Nice to hear some good news from time to time.
UPDATE: Next-Gen points out something that should have been obvious but didn't register with me at the time. Game sales will be up 20%, says one analyst, but a big part of that is that game prices have, hey, gone up 20%, from $50 to $60. Not as happy-sounding, that bit of info.
