In what's turning out to be a big week for Cingular, the carrier has announced yet another new handset. The LG CE500 is an EDGE-enabled clamshell that plays MP3 and AAC files on its stereo speakers, but it's not without its share of mobile data power. The handset includes a POP3 mail app and support for AIM, Yahoo IM, and ICQ. Selling for $99 with a two-year contract, the CE500 comes with a 64MB TransFlash card and 32MB of flash built in. It also has a graphic equalizer for your tunes, which is something many music phones still lack.
