It's illegal to drive any motor vehicle while intoxicated. And that includes lawn mowers. Illinois resident Paul Schwarztrauber Jr. was pulled over while riding his grass cutter while allegedly inebriated on a public road. Schwarztrauber, who had two previous DUI convictions and a revoked driver's license, had his 1-year-old daughter on his lap when a patrol car approached him. Schwarztrauber refused to stop and shouted obscenities, police say, but soon realized the game was up. "He kept driving for a few moments. One of the officers then walked up to the mower (and) turned off the ignition," said Lt. David Fellows. After a sobriety test the cops say Schwarztrauber failed with flying colors, he was arrested and jailed on $50,000 bail.
