They both like the new iPod, but think it is overpriced at $249.

Alex Eremian, president of a Barcelona-based company that imports paint supplies for graffiti artists, said he came to Macworld to get a bargain iPod, but found no discounts. A long-time veteran of MacWorld, Eremian hasn't been very impressed with the announcements at MacWorld since Apple introduced the G3 and G4 computers.

Dawn Adams, a 36-year-old freelance writer from Alameda, California, was impressed by the number of people wandering the show floor. A three-year attendee at MacWorld, Adams was suprised that the iPod has become the biggest attraction this year.

Jeff Syrop, a die-hard PC user, brought his 10-year-old son George to Macworld. While George checked out the new iPod Mini, his dad ranted about his PC, while blowing hot on cold on the Mac. He said he admires the Mac, but will never get one because it's not mainstream.
