Plants are stacked vertically to maximize growing space, and are lit by a combination of natural and artificial light.

Ultimately, the vegetables are grown without use of pesticides and with minimal environmental impact. However, due to the technology between the plant and the natural world, Greengro vegetables cannot claim to be organic.
