A pig's owner has banned him from mating because he's so fat he squashes the sows. Rex, who weighs 504 pounds, used to have sex 25 times a week and has fathered 1,500 piglets. But farmer David Heugh from Sheffield, England, now thinks 3-year-old Rex could injure one of his mates. "He is a big ugly brute, but we have all grown fond of him because he is such a character. But now his weight is a problem and it's time for someone younger and slimmer to take over," said Heugh. Enter Mr. Darcy, the trim 168-pounder from a local farm slated to take over Rex's duties. Heugh hopes that Rex will go to an animal charity or a farmer who'll guarantee not to slaughter him. You'd think with all that activity, ol' Rex would have easily stayed slim and trim. No more whoopee for him, poor guy.
