Wherefore Art Thou, Vaporware?

Here's your chance to vote for your favorite over-hyped technology or product that never materialized. Wired News will tally the votes, and we promise to declare a winner without the Supreme Court's help.

Every year a new set of would-be "killer apps" enters the tech lexicon, and without fail, many of them either are delayed for years, or never materialize at all.

Every year Wired News gives you the chance to vent against the products and technologies that looked good on paper but never made it to shrink-wrap.

So send us your suggestions for the "best" vaporware products or technologies of 2000, and we'll print the results later this month.
