It's a new twist for celebrity romance, but an inevitable turn for the Hollywood publicity machine. Hollywood heartthrob Michael Douglas has announced his engagement to the Welsh actress Catherine Zeta-Jones on the Internet. Countering previous rumors of a rift between the celebrity couple, Douglas confirmed Thursday that he popped the question on New Year's Eve. Zeta-Jones said she's not worried about their 25-year-old age difference -- in fact, she prefers knowledgeable older men. No date has yet been set for the wedding, but fans who check the star's Web site will be among the first to know.
