To absolutely nobody's surprise, the governor-elect of Minnesota has decided to eschew black-tie formality for his January inauguration. "We did not want it to be a traditional, formal ball because we are not traditional, formal people," said the chair of the Jesse Ventura inauguration committee. So instead, Ventura will celebrate his new gig by leading a crowd in exercise, sitting down to a "hot dish" lunch with farmers, and releasing an eagle into the wild.
