San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown took one for the team -- well, actually, took three for the team -- when he was hit by three pies thrown by local homeless activists. Brown joined Bill Gates, Oscar de la Renta, and a few others on the list of notables splattered by agenda-wielding pie throwers. Brown was nailed during a press conference called to proclaim that the on-again, off-again plan to build the San Francisco 49ers a new stadium was on again. Apparently, the homeless advocates didn't really care.
