Intel earnings and a bright report on digital traffic and commerce bolstered the Nasdaq today. The index had gained more than 22 points by midday. Internet stocks responded to the Commerce Department report. Yahoo, Lycos, and Infoseek were all up. The Dow, meanwhile, was up almost 9 points.
